The six members of 4 Days Late bash Obamaphilia in this sketch revue, comparing the president to a powerless superhero and his fervent followers to cultish Christians. A randy couple prove their adoration by role-playing Barack and Michelle, and elsewhere a player complains that gays are "still treated like second-class citizens" under Obama's regime. The most effective satire, however, isn't about Obama; it's a slam at reality TV and the people who watch it. With musical numbers, big ideas, and a quick pace, the show has the feel of a small-scale Second City main-stage production. If their concepts were better realized and the dancing in their pop-video parodies were more parodic than pop video, this energetic group would merit a bigger stage. --Ryan Hubbard
