The ghost of Robert Goulet emcees Dramatis Personae's Halloween show, a collection of sketches about monsters in wacky situations. A mummy gets lucky, Dracula confronts cereal spokes-vampire Count Chocula, the Grim Reaper goes trick-or-treating, zombies invade the campus of Northern Kentucky University. Tom Bambara puts an amusing, Tony Clifton-esque spin on Goulet, and the rest of the cast seem to enjoy themselves, which is nice for them. But their delight isn't necessarily reflected in the audience. A major part of the problem is that each sketch consists of precisely one joke spread out over 15 minutes. Comedy shows should probably clip along at a rate faster than four laughs per hour. --Zac Thompson
